Banks: In the metropolitan area of Asunción you can find both domestic bank branches and banks that operate internationally.

Bank opening hours: They are varied, but they are usually open Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Some branches located in the main shopping centers have cash desk service up to and including 20:00 and are open, although during limited hours, on weekends.

Automated Teller Machines: Are widely available in Asunción and Luque. International credit cards are accepted at most establishments.

Guarani is the official currency of Paraguay, it was created in 1943, although it began to circulate in 1944 and is one of the most stable currencies in the Latam region.
