Paraguay is honoured to host the 19th session of the Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage, which will take place in Asunción from 2 to 7 December 2024.

The Committee session aims to ​​promote the objectives of the Convention, provide guidance on best practices, and make recommendations on measures for safeguarding the intangible cultural heritage.
This session will be an opportunity to strengthen our ties through renewed dialogue and collective commitment and to share our traditions and oral expressions, performing arts, social practices, rituals and festivities, knowledge, and traditional ancestral techniques, a melting pot of cultural diversity.
